The water is a really dark blue color; it almost looks purple. The waves were small today (0.5-1 ft.) and looked like a sheet of glass. The temperature is still cold outside (64 F); it has been like this since we left South Africa.

I did not see any marine life today. The temperature is finally getting warm again (76 F). The captain was giving tours of the bridge yesterday and today. I got to see where they steer the ship, plot out our root, the control to the engine room that controls the speed (like in the movie Titanic), and a lot more cool gadgets.

Today is a TBA day; we always get woken up early for lifeboat drills on TBA days. Once the drill was over we all meet on the pool deck for a whole ship photo. While in the union for a special program that was being presented before the Ambassadors Ball, I could see splashes in the water but was unable to see what was making them (it was either flying fish or dolphins). After the program we had a formal sit down dinner and a dance after dinner. It was so much fun getting all dressed up and attending dinner and dance.

There is still no sign of marine life. We finally reach Brazil tomorrow; it has been a long week at sea with preparing for finals that occur a few days after Brazil.
