Whale hunting in the US

Yes, whales are hunted in the U.S., by two aboriginal peoples. One is the
Inuit (eskimo) in Alaska, who kill bowheads. The other is the Makah tribe
of Washington state, who have recently restarted a hunt that ended more
than 70 years ago, for gray whales.
