Why do whales migrate all around the world and why do whales eat so much
************************
Whales really don't migrate 'all around the world', and not all whales migrate. Those that do (like many of the baleen whales and some of the toothed whales) do so to take advantage of abundances of food during particular times of the year, and also in some cases, to have warmer waters for calves to be born into.
I'm not really sure what exactly you want to know with the question about why whales eat so much. They are large animals, so one would expect that they would need to eat a lot.
If you have more specific questions, feel free to write back,
Dagmar
