COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU CALL A GROUP OF WHALES.
THANKS, JEN

Jen,

Whales travel together in relatively small groups called 'pods'.
Scientists have spent much time studying the dynamics of these
pods, which tend to be very fluid (which means that individual
whales join and leave the pods, thus changing its structure and
dynamic). But, pods of whales traveling together are only a part
of the larger group that includes all whales in a 'population'.
Populations of whales live, feed, migrate and mate together
throughout their lives. The population is very spread out, often
over miles and miles, but they remain in contact using sound.

Thanks for your question!
Jen Philips
