The 'whales' at Shedd are white whales (belugas). They are actually
    dolphins (superfamily Delphinoidea).

Books on that species are more likely to be found at a book store,
and in particular at the Shedd gift store. I know of several books
that focus on arctic animals (inluding belugas) and on belugas
specifically. Visit the store when you go to the aquarium.

The best book on all of the whale species is the recently-published
National Audubon Society Guide to Marine Mammals of the World. It may
not be in your library yet as it has been out only a few months.

    Cheers,

    Pieter Folkens
