Karen Pryor wrote a great book on training dolphins called "Lads Before the Wind". A dolphin trainer has to go thru schooling, just like you do, to learn how to do this. Many of the same techniques used to train dogs (like positive reinforcement) are used to train dolphins. Hope this helps.
