My best advice to those interested in a career in Marine Biology or
Cetology is to do and internship with a research
organization as soon as you are a sophomore or junior in college. It is
by far the best way to learn about the field, to get your foot in the
door and to meet all the right people. It is what I did, as well as the
rest of the staff of my organization!

Good luck!

Sincerely,

Lisa Foerster
