Elisabeth-

There are a number of internship programs in marine mammal biology. On the
Society for Marine Mammalogy home page (http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~smm/) you
can find something called "Strategies for Pursuing a Career in Marine Mammal
Science." One section is a list of internship programs. Locally, they
include the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown, the Cetacean
Research Unit in Gloucester, New England Aquarium in Boston, and Mystic
Marinelife Aquarium in Mystic. Mystic's program includes veterinary
internships.

Cheers,
Dr. Bob
