Hi,
Minke whales are the whale most killed commercially. They are hunted in the
North Atlantic (Norway) and Antarctic (Japan). Its called the commercial
whaling industry - although the Japanese call it "scientific whaling".
Minke whales are used as food, especially in Japan. The bones etc. are
probably also used as fertilizer.
