Hi, your question was:

Hello, I am doing a report for school on the career of a marine
mammalogist. I would like to know some areas of specialization of
this career, the career outlook ( future of this occupation), minimum
education/training, typical working conditions, personal characteristc
requirements, and approximate salary. Thankyou.

My answer is:

There is an excellent web site put together by the Society for
Marine Mammalogy located at the following Internet address:
http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~smm/strat.htm. The have a document there
titled, " Strategies For Pursuing A Career In Marine Mammal
Science." It's a really good, comprehensive
source of career info put together by professionals who are working in
the field, and I believe it should have the answers to many of your
questions.

If you don't have access to the Internet, you can email your regular
mailing address, and I'd be happy to send the same information to
you. Just be sure to remind me what you need as I get lots of email
messages every day.

Sincerely,
Nancy Sadusky
