It depends on the species. Whales, dolphins and porpoises eat fish, squid,
krill (shrimp-like crustaceans) and zooplankton (tinier crustaceans). Some
species are picky eaters (right whales eat zooplankton, blue whales eat
krill, Risso's dolphins eat squid) and others will eat a larger variety of
things (humpback whales will eat krill or small fish, many dolphins eat
either squid or fish).
