Hi Tom:

Hmmm, I'm afraid I've never heard of anyone using whale skin for leather.
My own experience with whale skin (in studies of stranded whales) is that
it's slimy when wet and flakes when dry--not the best hide for making
leather.

Perhaps you were thinking of shark skin?  Either way, I'm afraid I don't
have any pictures of wallets in my collection.
