Subject: Indigenous use of Bow Head Whales (fwd)

New South Wales (Australia) National Parks and Wildlife Service Cultural Heritage Division will soon be holding an internal workshop to discuss (among other things) Cultural Heritage Management in North America. An outcome of this workshop will be to identify issues associated to the management of the use of wild resources by Australian Aboriginal communities. If anybody has a copy (or summary) of previous correspondence/debate regarding controlled hunting of Bowhead Whales from approximately November/December 2000, this would be greatly appreciated.
