Harp Seal-Fishery Interactions in the Northwest Atlantic
Towards Research and Management Actions

Twenty-nine scientists from seven countries met in St. John's,
Newfoundland from 24-27 February 1997 to consider the interactions
between harp seals and fisheries in the Northwest Atlantic. The workshop
was sponsered by the Canadian Centre for Fisheries Innovation (CCFI) and
Memorial University of Newfoundland.

The summary of the report is available on the IMMA website
(http://www.imma.org/forum.html), as well as the entire report of the
workshop in Adobe Acrobat (PDF)format
(http://www.imma.org/workshop.pdf).
