Subject: teacher's packet available
Available to interested folks,
The Minerals Management Service (U.S. Dept of Interior) has, hot off
the presses, a teacher's packet about whales and dolphins of the Gulf
of Mexico. This is a companion to the Gulf of Mexico whale and
dolphin poster that the MMS published about 3 years ago. Information
in the packet includes coverage about evolution, biology, the Gulf's
species, human impacts on the animals in this area, classroom
activities, and a listing of helpful web sites and references.
Both the packet and poster are free. Please contact (do not hit the
reply key):

There are plans to make the packet available thru the MMS web site in
the near future as well.
