Subject: 2nd unusual humpback tag seen in Newfoundland waters

Hi all,

Just want to report the sighting of a tagged mother-calf humpback pair off
Renews, Newfoundland, Canada: the mother was tagged with a blue streamer
through the dorsal fin. Sighting was some time ago - in July - the observer
has only just contacted us. We are not familiar with this kind of tag, and
were wondering if someone out there could help us out.

Anyone who knows the origin of this tag or needs further information please
reply by email.

Sean
