Mike,

Return to your seats and place your tray tables and seat backs into the
upright position...things are going to get a little bumpy around here. We
here in the Northeast are about to have a rather large storm pass by in the
next few days. If the forecasts are correct, this big wind should be
blowing straight through the Gulf of Maine for the next few days, making
things a bit more interesting for all concerned. As for "Lucky" he is
continuing to transmit and appears to have once again headed offshore, from
the coast of Maine. In fact, he appears to have moved south, back towards
the same location he was in for the past two weeks! Our latest position
puts him just north of Wildcat Knoll once again and only about 7-10 miles
from the location he left roughly one week ago. Consider this..."Lucky"
has just about completed a round trip of roughly two hundred miles from,
and now returning to a location in the middle of the Gulf of Maine.
Picture yourself trying this trick in a boat (let alone swimming).

As I write this the storm system has pushed waves up to about 8-9 feet as
measured by the Boston Harbor Buoy (this is the nearest buoey to "Lucky"
and you can find out what is going on at
...http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.phtml?$station=44013).

Hopefully we will be able to follow what he does over the next few days as
the storm passes...
