Attached is the latest data from "Wadadli" from
this weekend. Note the
past two days. On these two days we received
an increased number of
messages and our first location with a reliable
(2 LC ) accuracy. It
appears that "Wadadli" has continued up the
Bay of Fundy and is now roughly
15 miles from three points of shoreline. It is
possible that he could
continue another 50 miles or so up the bay, but
we should keep in mind that
the tides in this area are extreme and tidal flow
is considerable. His
pattern for the past two days appears to be to
have traveled roughly fifty
miles upthe bay in a relatively straight line (this
is in contrast to his
erratic movements for the past weeks). The last
few points appear to show
that he has stopped in the middle of the bay for
a time. It will be
interesting to see which way he continues,
however he will have to reverse
direction if he is going to get out of the bay.
