I have read that the International whaling Commission is scheduled
to meet in Mexico in May, and that one of the topics to
be considered is Norway's intent to resume whaling.  I would
like to know some reliable information about the IWC meeting
and about which nations are now harvesting or intend to
harvest whales.
 
I write from Gloucester, MA, which likes to call itself
the whale watching capital of the U.S.
