Bodies of 60 dolphins swept ashore in France

BORDEAUX, France, Feb 16 (Reuter) - Sixty dead dolphins were
swept ashore on Atlantic beaches near this southwest France city
at the weekend, police said.
Officials said they believed the dolphins may have died
after becoming snared in the nets of trawlers.
Their bodies would have been blown ashore afterwards by
strong winds.
