Subject: location data seal "PoeGo"

Mike et al,

Below are locations for today. I may have to take back some of the nasty
things I said about "PoeGo" when we were not getting good transmissions.
We now have dive data on roughly 4,000 dives and things are getting
interesting. Some of the patterns that are starting to appear: Roughly
60% of his dives are 5-10 minutes long, 20% are 0-1 minute long, very few
are longer than 20 minutes, although a few are as long as 45 minutes or
better. Almost 30% of his dive time appears to be spent between 100-250
meters deep and about 30% between 4-20 meters deep. Although his dives
reach 200-250 meters about 10% of the time (and occasionally as deep as 300
meters), he appears to be spending less than 5% of his time there. This
makes it appear that this may be about as deep as he can go. Hopefully, we
will be getting more dive data and be able to fill this in some more.
