Mike et al,

Locations as of today for PoeGo and Jersey.  There will be a little break
for the next few days over the weekend, but the next update should be on
Tuesday.


Poego,

Quite a bit of data.  The locations appear to be hanging in the same
general area, roughly fifty miles offshore from the coast of Newfoundland.
It appeared last week that Poego may have been heading north, however it
turns out that he appears to be staying within ten miles or so of the same
location for the past week or so.  He is over much deeper water (250 meters
or so) and his dive pattern shows much more dee diving and some of his
deepest dives to date (almost 900 fee deep).

Locations are a bit farther north, however no locations for today (thurs).
Still roughly twenty miles offshore.  Dive behavior shows quite a bit of
shallow diving activity, but most dives are fairly long (5-10 minutes).
Initially these are pretty good results as we generally do not get very
many signals back immediately after a seal is released.  Also this far
south satellite coverage is not as good as it is further north.  Hopefully
Jersey will be heading that way and hopefully we will still have a tag
working.
