Apparently, the tags have stopped functioning.
We will keep you posted. Research, especially with whales, is not a "sure bet." One must work with the weather, sea conditions,and the whales. Apparently, the tags either stopped functioning or they were rejected by the whale's tissue and fell to the sea floor.
