In order to maintain the educational, environmental, and research components of this program, to improve the quality of the entire WhaleNet Web site, and to keep the access FREE to students, educators, and life-long learners, we are actively seeking corporate sponsorships and foundation grants for support.
There are opportunities for corporations and foundations to help. WhaleNet's initial National Science Foundation funding is beyond the end of the grant period. WhaleNet will continue to present high quality curricula and educational materials, but in order to continue the more unique components such as the Satellite Tagging Observation Program and ASK a Scientist we need additional funding.
Corporate and foundation assistance can help support the WhaleNet program and components such as the Satellite Tagging Observation Program and ASK a Scientist with sponsorships. See the links below for more information or click here if you have a question.
The following pages give preliminary information on the WhaleNet program and on sponsorships to support the WhaleNet - Interactive Education program.
