The Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) completed four tracks and sighted three (3) right whales on 8 March. Additionally, researchers from New England Aquarium (NEA) and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) sighted five (5) right whales during their research trip today.
Please note due to system problems the coordinayes for the right whale zones are approximate positions and no map is attached to this fax report.

NOTE: The complete NMFS/CG aerial and CCS ship survey tracks are enclosed in this [page] fax for information and reference purposes. Henceforth, a messages will detail the track lines completed that [given] day from the platform(s) providing sighting reports.

CONCENTRATIONS OF ENDANGERED NORTHERN RIGHT WHALES ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT IN CAPE COD BAY. SIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:
