The Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) successfully surveyed all 15 tracklines in Cape Cod Bay today. Sea conditions were favorable and a total of 5 right whales were sighted, primarily in the western portion of the Bay.

If the whale is observed entangled, please call (800) 900-3622 or beeper (508)803-0204 and standby whale.

CONCENTRATIONS OF ENDANGERED NORTHERN RIGHT WHALES ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT IN CAPE COD BAY. SIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:
