The Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) vessel surveyed north and east of Cape Cod, running tracks between the BD and BC buoys, east of the shipping lanes. A total of 3 right whales were sighted.
CONCENTRATIONS OF ENDANGERED NORTHERN RIGHT WHALES ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT IN CAPE COD BAY. SIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:
