Center for Coastal Studies R/V Orion surveyed Cape Cod Bay covering tracks 5 through 8. No right whales were sighted in cape Cod Bay.
R/V Shearwater did a track from Highland Light Beach to east of the shipping lane. R/V Shearwater reported three right whales sighted.

CONCENTRATIONS OF ENDANGERED NORTHERN RIGHT WHALES ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT IN CAPE COD BAY. SIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:
