NOAA/NMFS Right Whale Survey

REPORT:
Two right whales (a mother and calf pair) were sighted very close to shore off east hampton, NY on 14 and 15 April. They were surface feeding and working up and down about a 3/4 mile stretch of beach.
CONCENTRATIONS OF ENDANGERED NORTHERN RIGHT WHALES ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT IN CAPE COD BAY. SIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:
