REPORT:

The Nantucket Stranding response Team reported two right whales last evening approximately 500 yards off the south side on nantucket. The whales which have not yet been re-sighted today were not in any distress and were swimming in an east-west direction along the shore. These whales were of different size and may have been a mother-calf pair.
