REPORT:
A right whale sighting off Ogunquit, ME was reported to New England Aquarium this afternoon. The whale was approximately one mile offshore and heading in a southerly direction.
The marine mammal observer aboard the Bar harbor, ME to Yarmouth, Nove Scotia ferry reported a single right whale sighting this evening. The observer and officers saw the whale blow several times.
CONCENTRATIONS OF ENDANGERED NORTHERN RIGHT WHALES ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT IN CAPE COD BAY. SIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:
