Teacher at Sea - Part Two

Gian Criscitiello teaches third grade at the Smith School in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Last summer WhaleNet tracked Gian and the crew of the Midnight Sun as they sailed from Newport, Rhode Island to Kinsale, Ireland. Gian sent WhaleNet daily reports on weather and whale sightings during the 19 days it took to cross the Atlantic.

Gian will joined Midnight Sun in Alta, Norway and traveled south along the rugged and majestic Norwegian coast. When weather permited, Midnight Sun crossed the North Sea to the Shetland Islands of Scotland , then proceed to Glasgow where Midnight Sun will be hauled out.
